Print head noi installed

I have a Cabnnon Pixma 1500 printer installed on my computer. Suddenly I have started getting warning 'Print Head Not Installed'. I removed the print head & reinstalled yet it is not reading it & warning is repeating. Reinstalling the printer also did not help. What should I do?
