Print spooler is not running

Question

when my niece and nephew was on my computer they stopped the printer and jammed it and did not tell me what they did and deleted my printer off my files. I could not find my disc so I could not install back and now I can not get the the computer to see another printer when I install it to get the printer to print. The printer shows up in the files but not in the hardware and printer section. I have tried the add printer section. I have tried help and support sections.
