Question:

Printable quilt pattern?

My aunt made my girls a beautiful quilt, I wanted to send her a thank you card that looks like a quilt that they color in. Does anyone know of a printable like this, I searched some but had no luck. She made them in the star type pattern along with some stripes. I wanted something special from them as I am so thankful to her for this. I still have my quilts her and my mother made me (my mom has passed) and one she made for my wedding. It meant a lot to me for my girls to have one as well. I now could kick my self for never learning from her and she lives a few states away. Anyway any ideas or links would be appreciated. I tried drawing it but did not have much luck with it looking like a quilt.

  1. Here is a printable quilt card:

You could use the clip art and instructions to print one.

  2. Use the quilt patterns Sharon has linked to and draw them out using graph paper.

Or you can always cut the "quilt pieces" out of 1" square construction paper and the girls can "build" their own paper quilts. (My girls love to do this for an activity).

  3.   here's a link to quilt patterns. Maybe you'll find the one you need. I would draw it off and use pencil crayons and maybe embelish it with ribbon.
