Printer Help Please!?

Question

My printer starts each page in black but then the color turns to green part way down the page. I have changed the black cartridge and put in a new one. It didn't help. Each new page still starts black and turns green although there is less and less black as time goes on. Any idea what could cause this?

YOur printer head is going bad..

you might need a new printer cause the heads cost just as much...

Try a page from Notepad or Wordpad in plain text. Re-load your printer drivers. Try an internal demo page from the printer if it has that function (you haven't said what flavor of printer). Have a look at the sites fixya and fixyourownprinter.

try running the cartridge cleaner on it. It is under your printer properties, under service or repair probably.
