Question:

Printing Braille?

I need to send a letter to a business friend who is blind and can only read Braille. However, I cannot seem to figure out how to accomplish this.

Is this a service any retail chains like Kinkos would provide, or is there somewhere I could call that would be able to point me in the right direction?

  1. School systems usually have a Braillest for their visually impaired students. You might contact the school system in our area and find out who this person is, or look on their website.

Ask at your local library or community college if a braille service is available.

  2. try this site www.disabilitynfo.gov

if you are in the usa each state has  a school for the deaf and blind.  find it at the site above. it takes a special machine to print braille.

  3. http://www.nfb.org/nfb/Default.asp

    try this-

have you asked the business associate-

the associate may have software that can scan a typed letter and read it out loud
