Printing Labels on Microsoft word?

Ok, so I want to print some labels for my school books. If I buy label paper (you know that paper that people put in printers and then print labels onto them) and put it in my printer, how would I make sure it was evenly spaced in the Microsoft word document? Sorry if it's a bit hard to understand! Thanks!!

Use a desktop publishing program, they have templates readily available for just this task so you don't need to worry about the spacing - it will be done automatically for you(:
