Printing off digital pictures?

hey, im starting my own modeling portfolio of digital pictures on my computer, how can i print them off so they look professionaly. I dont want to just print them on a plain piece of paper, is there any place i could go do this and how much would it cost?. I want the pictures to be the size of looseleaf, like an 8'x10'

  1. you could try walmart, its like 50 cents a copy? :D


  2. For best results, size the images properly - 8x10 @300 dpi - and save them a jpgs.

    Then either take them to a real camera store - NOT WalMart or any of those other box stores! -  and get decent prints done.

    You can also do this online with Shutterfly or one of the other outstanding online print services.

    The key to a quality print is to give the printer an optimized, properly sized file to work with. Otherwise, you're at the mercy of some kid who has no idea what they're doing, or some machine that turns out c**p.

    Remember, these pictures are going to represent YOU - hopefully, at your best and most attractive.
