Prior Salvage Title??

Question

Looking to buy a car with a prior Salvage title.... Due to minimal hail damage....... Should I buy or avoid?

Older vehicles may be issues salvage title due to minor body damage. They may be restored easily, pass inspection, and be issued a rebuilt or prior salvage title. Insurance companies will likely reduce the maximum coverage. I just bought one. Only minor body dents and scrapes. The insurance company would pay only 50 percent of the clean value. Then again, for a ten year old vehicle I often get only liability. I was able to register it with the state with no questions. Do your homework. It may or not be a good idea to buy a vehicle with a salvage or prior salvage title.
