Prior service Army to Navy?

I'm Army E-4 Logistics transferring to Active Navy trying for HM-8404 (DOC) just want to know if they will let me keep my rank if I'm changing jobs?

  1. yeah you keep your rank no matter what job you go in to...thats the perks of being prior service!


  2. it depends on numerous factors..the largest factor is were you frocked or actually advanced?
