Priority pick afl?

Question

since both carlton and richmond finished with fewer then 16.5 points, shouldnt richmond also finish with a priority pick making the draft to look like

1.carlton (pp)

2.richmond (pp)

3.richmond

4.carlton

Oh thanks for asking that because I was wondering myself.  So, you have to be consistently pathetic and not just put in one shocker.  I guess that makes sense if you're going to adopt a socialist approach to footy!! :-)

The priority pick is only given if a team fails to accumulate a set amount of points over consecutive years, that's why Carlton has a pick this year and Richmond don't, but if Richmond fail to win enough games in 08 then they will be entitled to a priority pick.

You make an excellent point!.  I wonder if  Caroline  Wilson is on the committee that makes those decisions as well ?
