Privacy issue question?

Question

just because a landlord wants to show your apt off to other ppl for renting while u r still living there; why do you have to be subject to a stranger walking through your home u rent, its like showing your stuff off to make the potential renter want to rent that particular apt when none of the stuff will be there when he/she moves in. its seems very invasive?

The landlord under your state statute retains the right to show your unit with reasonable notice to prospective future tenants; not much you can do but require the landlord to give reasonable notice as defined by your state

Yes your right, but I'm sure the Landlord asked you in advance if it was okay to show the aprtment.  If you've changed your mind then tell him and make sure your out by the end of the month.
