  1. If they keep calling....log it in a notebook and dont erase it from your caller ID....then contact your phone service carrier.

  2. no. I tried finding out once by pressing *69 and it just says "this number cannot be given out".  Maybe there is a different way, who knows. I'd like to know too.

  3. No, everyone has the right to block their number... but you also have the right to refuse those calls.  Your phone will never ring... they will go right to a message.

The thing is that if it's an automated dialer calling you - like some marketing, banking, collections, and other companies use... all they have to do is put any old number... even somthing like "10" into the field that asks what number they are calling from ... that number will show up on your CID and the call will go through... they are getting slick on ways around the rejection ability we have.

Your dad can enter some buttons - like *something to unblock his number when he calls you.  He'll have to check with his carrier what those keys are.

  4. Maybe it's Dad!!!!!!

  5. you can call customer service to block all private call.

have you dad call you by dialing *82 + phone numbers if he has private number.

  6. No,

A person has the right to block their CID information from you.  However, you also have a setting on your Caller ID (you have to dial a *code to activate it, check with your carrier) called Anonymous Call Rejection (ACR) when you have ACR turned on, and a person tries to call with their number blocked your phone will not ring, and they will get a message stating that "this number does not accept calls from blocked numbers, please remove your block and call again"
