Question:

Private mailbox or street address in London?

As you know from previous question I live in the U.S. and I'm wanting to get a private mailbox or london street address. I'm starting a business. I have googled and researched and found several sites that offer mail forwarding, mail drop, virtual office, etc. However, after researching each company with a simple google map it shows the address linked right back to virtual offices, and that doesnt make anything look legit to me. This is suppose to be your own personal address to impress clients, but if you google it and find out its a virtual office, then people are going to shy away for obvious reasons. Anyway, what do I need to do? I would like an actual street address but a p.o. box would okay. What are the postal laws in London? Do they require certain things in order to get a postal box? Any help would be appreciated!!!

  1. To get a P.O. Box from the Post Office you need to provide proof of having a permanent address in the UK - e.g. a bank statement or utility bill from the last 3 months, and complete the application form for 6 or 12 months - pdf here: ftp://ftp.royalmail.com/Downloads/public...
