Private marriage ceremony?

me and my gf want to get married, but we dont wanna do it the normal way. i though of an idea from the crow series when Eric and Shelly exhcange vows. do anyone know what's it's called?

Don't rely too much on the TV show, because marriage ceremonies have a legal aspect. You need to call your local courthouse (or check your state government's website) and find out what the requirements are to be legally married in your state. You have to get a marriage license, of course, but you can also find out what qualifications your officiant needs. You might be able to have a friend or notary perform the ceremony, or you may need someone who has obtained additional certifications. Once you know the requirements, you can find the right person to perform the kind of ceremony that you want. It can be as personal and private as you wish, but it will still be considered legally married!
