  1. Your local airport can help you, but it is bery expensive!

  2. You are going to have to do some homework to find the best school for you. Check out the following for information on becoming a pilot and flight school listings:

    Flight School Listings:

    http://www.flightschoollist.com/

    http://flighttraining.aopa.org/learntofl...

    http://www.faa.gov/pilots/become/

You can also go here to find general aviation airports in your area:

    Have fun!

  3. go to yellow pages.com and look up airplane flight schools. you'll need about $12,000 and up to 300 hours or more of time. It however can be a great experience as long as you don't crash.

  4. any small airport usually does, just look it up in  your phone book.

currently they cost me $110 per lesson (cost of gas is included)

after some with the instructor you'll start going solo.

it takes between 40 and 60 or 80 hours to get your license.

it depends more on how long it takes you to master it then actual hour number

so cost will total above $4.000

its better to do them close together (like every week) so you retain more and don't have to waste money taking more lessons.

  5. Your best bet is try looking in the phone book for anything about it or even ask people that you know about it. Or its possible you could even call up the head of the town or such and ask them about that,

    Hope this helps!

  6. i dont know

  7. I suggest you visit AOPAs'(Aircraft Owners and Pilots Assoc.)

learning to fly page of their Web site. You will find some very valuable info there as well as how to locate your local flight school. see:

    http://www.aopa.org/learntofly/index.htm...

  8. you can start with ultralight planes or sport planes.  i'm not sure where you are located at.  try http://www.freedomfield.com for flight instruction.

  9. Try to find an FBO(fixed base operator at a small airport)

They will tell you about local schools. Do a google search for your area.
