Okay, i've been to private schools all of my life. I went to different schools at least 2 times but i still knew like1 person who went there.

And I'm really scared!! I'm entering the 6th grade.

I heard it's a GREAT middle school from like everyone i told!!haha

I might not go for the first couple of days because we might not move in time and I think that's kinda worse because I'll miss out on some stuff.

And give me advice on both problems please.

Will the public middle school be harder?

How will I make friends?..I'm not shy when my friends are around but when they aren't around I'm kinda shy.

I'm very outgoing and fun though but I keep my grades mostly like A's and one B..I'm pretty and got accepted into modeling but i quit, i love sports, and im skinny not at all.

**PLEASE HELP AND BE SERIOUS EVEN THOUGH I'M YOUNG**

  1. Keep on top of your work.  It isn't true that public school is easier than private school; they're just different types of education.  Middle school isn't much to worry about.  Not going for the first few days may not be the best idea, but if it's what you have to do then you don't have a choice.  Just make sure that you get all of the stuff you missed when you go in.  Making friends is as simple as being yourself.  Good luck!

  2. public school is probably less rules, its really the same thing!

  3. Ok well I'm going into 7th grade. I know what you're worrying about though! I've moved at least 10 times in my short life lol but in K-4th grade I was in a public school. It was easy as squash! lol. Then for 5th- 6th grade I went to a private school. It was much tougher. But the people were a lil nicer. So I'll try to show you a comparison the best I can.

Private School- Smaller school so it was probably a little hard for you to make friends, right? And they're private for a reason. You need to pay for it. Which means you probably got a better education there than you will at a public school. Private schools normally have nicer people than public schools and less temptation to do drugs and etc... And the teachers probably really got to know you.

Public School- Bigger school so it will probably be a lot easier to make friends there, and they have a wide variety of people there. Since you don't really pay for public schools (besides taxes lol) you don't get as much of an education, meaning it wil be easier. But in public schools there are a lot of people that you will need to watch out for. Believe it or not there are kids who smoke, do drugs, etc... So stay away from those people and just do what you think is right. In a public school you switch classes (some private schools do too though) So it will be a little confusing the first few days if you're new to switching classes and everything.

Anyways that's just some stuff that's true about most public and private schools, but maybe not all! But if people say it's a good middleschool maybe it's a little better than the type I described. And by the way it's great that you get As and Bs! I bet a lot of people will wish they were as smart as you lol. Watch out for jealousy. And it's great you're pretty too. And CONGRATULATIONS on quitting modeling. You should try and tell other girls what it's really like lol. It's also great that you're into sports. If you join a sport you'll probably find a lot of people like you on your team. So don't be afraid to join things! That's a sure-fire way to make good friends.

A few more things... Try not to be too shy the first day. Make sure you talk to everyone so they know who you are. And another way for someone to know who you are is if you wear what you like. You don't need to look like everyone else! Guys like girls who stand out from the crowd. Well you'll have so much fun in 6th grade! It was a great year for me! lol Be aware! There will be a lot of drama and maybe some dating lol. You don't need to date until you feel ready though. I'd advise you to wait for a few years though. And everyone is changing right now so you'll probably start liking guys and stuff so yeah...lol..

****Sorry if you had to read a lot but I tried to answer your question the best I could!****

GOOD LUCK AND I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AWESOME 6TH GRADE YEAR AND MAKE LOTS OF COOL FRIENDS!!!! DON'T LET MIDDLESCHOOL SCARE YOU!!!!
