  1. i used to go to private school.  it was kinda cool.  it was easier to pick what to wear in the morning cuz u wear what they tell u 2 (uniforms).  but which school u go to is entirely based on your opinion.  which one sounds more interesting?

  2. i dont know anything about either of those schools, however i would definetly encourage you to go to a private school. these days in public schools, the administration does NOTHING, in a way it seems as though the kids are just left to fend for themselves, yet in a private school, education and behavior is taken very seriously, and i think it is much easier to get a quality education without the distractions of a public school.

good luck and feel free to email me =]

    god bless

  3. This is the homeschooling section, which is probably why you haven't gotten many answers. Do make sure to check what category Yahoo Answers is offering you when you ask questions. You can always change it to something more appropriate before posting your question.

As for the 2 schools in question, have you checked out their websites? Have you visited the schools? Private schools can be great, especially for certain students. Finding out all the information you can and visiting these schools would give you the best sense of which, or if either, school would be right for you.

ADDED: I just saw on the Newark site that applications for next year had to be given in by Jan. 10. Unless they are willing to accept late applications, you've missed the deadline. Just looked at the Pingry site and you were supposed to have had documents turned in by Jan. 31. It sounds like they'll still consider you if you have a late application, but only if they have room. Unless you get yourself cracking on this, you won't have a decision to make since there will be nothing to decide.

  4. Certainly you will learn lots at a private school. Would you be boarding? That is another whole issue...if you are ready to leave the family nest.

I know nothing of the schools you are considering. One of my children went to The Hill School in Pottstown PA and loved it!
