  1. Wow. That sucks. Finish school that is what i am gonna tell you. You can do hair school part time during nights but finish school. Try to fit in. Try talking to people about what they like. Make it look like you are interested they will think you are th greatest peson ever

  2. Do you realise that nearly every word you've written here is misspelled? That is going to reflect very poorly on you on every job application you ever fill out and in so many areas of your life.

What do you mean you can't afford school after 16? Switch back to a public school at that point. The government pays for your education until you are 18.

    Listen to Skylark. Finish school.

  3. I've gone to an all-girls school for 3 yrs, & I've only been w/o a boyfriend for about 4 months total of that whole time. Lots of all-girls schools will have a "brother" school they have socials with, & you can also meet guys in other places. Most of the parties I go to are with kids from different schools, & I hang out with my friends from my old school all the time.

I meet a TON of guys by surfing, playing volleyball & at church. I honestly like going to an all-girls school because you can just stroll in without makeup on or caring at all about how you look, and the girls tend to be nicer to each other than when there are boys around. Plus.....boys can be so freaking annoying sometimes; I like not having the distraction of them at school. I prefer meeting them in settings like a sport where I can really get to know them, vs just squeezing past them in the hallway. If there is a co-ed sport you could join, go for it. Also, maybe you could help your friends who go to your old school plan a party or outings so you're still in the loop.

You don't know that you won't fit into the new school. You might meet some really awesome ppl there. Keep an open mind & an optimistic spirit.

I would seriously rethink leaving school at 16!!! It might seem like you don't need a proper education just to cut hair, but I'm betting there is more to being a hairdresser than that. I think you have to get a certification 1st, and then you have to apply for a job at a salon or have the funds to open your own salon, and people will be more likely to give you a job or a bank loan if you have an education. You'll also have to come up with a way of marketing yourself so you can get clients & keep them, know how to balance accounts (the money you make vs. the money you spend on supplies and overhead) and pay taxes, and all sorts of other things those 2 extra years of school could help prep you for. Plus, older ppl often don't want to hang with you when you're younger, so you might find yourself a bit lonely when your mates are still in school.

    Best of luck.  : )

    EDIT

I'm sorry things didn't go well for you on the trail days. If your parents are forcing you to go there, though, there's not much you can do but try to make the best of it. I'm in London, btw, and I got my hair cut at Toni&Guy today & asked the stylist about this. You have to finish school to get into their academy, and everything else I wrote is as true here as it is in the US. Her advice? FINISH SCHOOL.
