Pro's and cons of working in a post office?

I'm not sure I could make a very good list for you since I've never worked at a post office, but I think it looks like a great job.

The workers at my post office always seem to be happy...the've always got the radio on and always have a lively conversation going on among them. They love when people come in with packages..they like to hear the stories about where things are being sent and what not.

I've also heard it pays very well to be a mailman, but I'm not sure if the same thing goes for post office employees.
