Pro-Al Gore people. Can you understand this Analogy?

Simple Analogy : If someone told me not to eat a slice of pizza

because it was poison, but 5 mins later I see that same person that told me not to eat it, eating the Slice I was about to, that would seriously make me stop and think about everything that person just said to me.

This is a more simple situation. But it is "Exactly" the same thing, as Al Gore telling us about Global Warming , and Green Living, and what "Not" to do, but then he goes and does the same thing himself.

What Al Gore says or does has NOTHING to do with the scientific proof of global warming.  So he's wrong to eat the pizza, what difference does it make?

EVERY major scientific organization has issued an official statement that this is real, and mostly caused by us.  The National Academy of Sciences, the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the American Institute of Physics, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, the American Meteorological Association, etc.

They didn't get their info from Al Gore.

I'd like someone to tell me the name of any scientific organization that says otherwise.  There are a few "skeptics"; there are also scientists who say the Earth is 6000 years old, or that NASA faked the moon landings.  Denying global warming is just as silly.

EDIT - Why don't you see anything about the "32,000 scientists" discussed below on the news?  Because it's a scam.  Just a list of names with no idea of who they are, or even if they're scientists.  Some are obvious fakes, like names of rock stars.

I understand. But his behavior doesn't alter the facts. If his conscience doesn't bother him, it doesn't change the truth of the data and statistics he is reporting.

A doctor might smoke and at the same time tell you to quit smoking. He's giving you good advice, even if he doesn't follow it himself. And you would be wise to modify your behavior, even if he ignores his own message.

Lol.  Yeah it makes sense in a way but if you follow that logic you can say that if a guy tells you murdering is wrong and he kills someone, you have the right to kill someone too.  What Gore himself does doesn't change the reality of global climate change and its negative effects.

I see it like this ...

Al: "The Sun will not rise in the East tomorrow."

You: "Al, how do you know this?"

Al:  "A scientists told me so."

You:  "The sun always rises East - its a cycle called a day."

You: "Al, are you sure?"

Al: "Yes, a scientist told me."

You: "Ok, then what can we do about it?"

Al: "Stop doing everything that you enjoy and give me all your money."

You: "What will that do?"

Al: "Just give me all your money, and I see what I can do."

So you give Al all of your money and you are so worried you cannot sleep.

Next morning you go out and watch a beautiful normal sunrise, and just then Al walks up.

You: "Hey Al give me my money back."

You: "You said the sun would not rise in the East. You said you would try to do something, and there is the sun rising in the East!!!"

You:  "Al this happens every day!"

For the record, Gore gets the energy for his home from renewable sources (pays extra for it), and his home is 1 of just 14 in the nation with LEED gold certification.

Sure Gore still uses a lot of energy and he's a hypocrite to some degree, but frankly, I don't really care.  Gore is just the messenger.  He has nothing to do with the science behind global warming.

I think a better analogy would be this, if you bought a used car from a side street dealer and the engine knocked so you took it back and you saw him pouring saw dust or something else into the engine to quiet it down, would you still trust any car he wanted to sell you? This is the case with the AGW promoters, all the other research scientists they have taken their data to who actually bothered to attempt to verify if have become the most vocal of deniers. Only those who accepted the results and data without attempting to verify it have remained supporters of the idea.

I do love the mental picture of Bob, Dana, Ken and the other promoters dressed as pilgrim witch hunters out to find victims to burn at the stake as heretics. I have not seen so much vitriol and righteous rhetoric out of that bunch since they chopped off King Charlie’s head.

Gore is like an obese man telling non-obese people to stop eating so much because they're ruining the world and causing starvation.  So as he forces people to eat less and become anorexic with food taxes, he can eat even more and become a more obese slob eating ten $200 truffle burgers instead of ten In-N-Out burgers a day.

Yes it makes sense for the spokesman for global warming (and an alarmist who's also telling others to sacrifice) to practice what he preaches.  If he doesn't then we know that even he doesn't see it as the urgent threat that he claims it is.

Do a Google search of 32,000 Scientists and get an eye opening.  You would think that 32,000 Scientists signing a declaration that global warming (if it exists) is not caused by man, would generate some news.  So why didn't we see it on the news?  Because it contradicts the left-wing, mainstream media's agenda.
