Question:

Pro-Bachir and Pro-Hezbollah?

This is a bit of a complicated question, but does anyone know a person who is or themself supported Bachir Gemayel during the war but is now pro-Hezbollah. I've always assumed Aoun's followers who also liked Hezbollah were originally SSNP or Marada. Most Aoun supporters I've met who supported Bachir hate Hezbollah to death.

Thanks for any answer.

  1. yes.....it's complicated, bcoz politics is complicated and is in a permanent change....

i have seen that inside my family in Lebanon... they are christians and pro - Aoun

3 or 4  years ago, when Aoun returned to Lebanon an strange fact happened.  Many pple that has been against him, and that talked about what he had done......was supporting him at that moment. Many meetings and concentrations were taking place in Lebanon, and pple joined in Biel to show Aoun their support.

Then....after july war in 2006, things changed again...the ones against hezbollah....as Aoun and his followers, became their supporters, and pple that never had thought to support that group, were suddenly saying that they were almost the savers of Lebanon.

After that...is well known by everybody the alliance among Aoun and hezbollah, to get the power and the presidence of Lebanon.

I still dont understand that, but of course, everything was politic strategy to reach the POWER.

That kind of things were the facts that took Lebanon to the possition of being without president from november till may.

I dont agree, and shall never agree with the persons that put their personal ambition of power, before the well-being of an entire country.

Personally, I'm not pro-politicians that only want power and money, working for foreign interests.....I'm only Pro- Lebanon and everything that can help it to be a prosperous and peaceful country

  2. well i dont know whats going on really

i know a hezbollah supporter who is also a aoun supporter

but then again im not even lebanese i dont think my opinion matters OR makes much sense.

  3. ya .. me !

i wasn't born yet when Bachir was alive but the guy had a good head on his shoulders ...

.. Aoun didn't have the understanding with Hezbollah to become President .. he did it because he believes in the Unity between Lebanese .. everyone else should do the same ...

  4. Pro-Peace and Anti-War

  5. Actually this is a statement and not a question.

Anyway, we should all bare in mind that the "today politics" is not based on politics, but on politicians benefits and partisanship.

Today Aoun is with Hizballa, maybe Geagea tomorrow even the alien Walid J. can be the ally of Hizballa or Bashar !!!

Sorry if I standardized your statement but unfortunately it is the actual situation.

    Cheers.
