Women have frequently chosen cancer over abortion.  Here in the UK, articles crop up in the newspapers fairly frequently about pregnant women who have chosen not to have chemotherapy because it might kill the baby.  Some of them survived, some didn't, but none as far as I know have regretted their choice.

i'm a pro choice person and i find your question extremely offensive. aren't you the person who sent some poor guy a cancer wish? my father died from esophogeal cancer two years ago so i think this question is just wrong. grow up and shame on you.

Easy:  both.  Or, rather, I'd like my unborn child to have cancer so when I aborted it, it'd be a mercy killing.

Some cancers can be treated..thus you may live...if not..then dying is meant to be. everyone dies...its a fact of life.

but you can never get an aborted child back.

id take cancer because of the better chance of surviving.

Meekii..i am sorry about your father..My mother died of a rare lymphoma cancer almost 3 yrs ago. it was untreatable. even chemo would not have helped.

I think I have / or will have cancer in the near future.  I am addicted to nicotene, I have family history of cancer with many of my uncles on both father's and mother's side died because of  it.  I dont worry.  I have decided to die of cancer.  I am happy I am not aborted before I got a life to live with cancer and die because of that.  

I will not take away life from a fetus because I am afraid that will cause cancer in me or because I expect the unborn will have cancer.  My father who had throat cancer died literally died in my arms.  It was messy and blood all over the place and stuff.

Also, as per present demography, one in eight women you know personally will suffer from breast cancer.

Wow, thats a tough one.  I could never have an abortion.  So I guess if I had to choose, it would be cancer.  I know that one day I will be with my Creator, so I don't fear death.

I'm not pro life, but a very interesting question. I'm surprised how many people said cancer. I personally believe in the choice to have an abortion. And I can't really see the logic of choosing to ruibn everybody's lives around you, leave your family in mourning rather than get rid of a few cells in your body that doesn't have a brain or feelings.
