How do I get on a professional team?

Indoor:

When I started as a pro player it was very tough because I had no where to start and a couple ideas.

You can get on a team in many ways:

1.  The team knows your name and finds you directly thru etiher an agent or maybe your present team or your coach.

2.  You contact the team directly.

3.  Your agent gets a request for a certain type of player from a team.

Beach:

Well there really aren't teams in the USA. I mean you find your partner generally speaking by training with them or talking to them about it because you saw they play and thought you might play well together.

I noticed in Europe that certain pro teams (indoor) were starting beach teams (2 people) that were sponsored by the team's sponsors and the team.

Also, I saw that there were actual beach volleyball clubs that had several teams of partners that trained together and competed on the national pro ciruit.

An agent can help manage and negotiate sponsorship deals for beach players.
