  1. maybe some people don't want kids. you're just talking about 'outsourcing' pregnancies, which is another word for surrogate.

  2. Wow. Thats Bs.... Gotta be.  Is it?

  3. I wouldn't want anyone in India to carry my pregnancy. I know how terrible conditions are there.

  4. Wow, the people here always talk about how everyone should receive high wages, then turn around and outsource pregnancies based the lowest cost?. No, different than outsourcing daycare based on the lowest cost.

  5. i've heard about it a lot the other way around - actually oprah even had a show about indian women surrogates who are paid to give birth for american women.

  6. sure, if they're happy to do it ...

have to look at the ethical side of it though > would the woman receive medical care equivalent to in the west? would women be forced into it by their husbands? what about the woman's long term health?

don't see the connection to abortion though, unless you're suggesting that all pro-choice women / men are sterilised and their eggs / sperm frozen until they're ready to have kids? i wouldn't have a problem with this, but i'm sure lots of people would

might help keep the indian population from going through the roof too
