  1. negitive things: being far from family, feeling lonly at times, having to work twice as hard to proove urself, feeling like an outsider at times

positives: indepandance, no interfearance of anytype from family, safe environment, good future/education for urself and childeren

  2. MP--PRO AND CONS?........AH INDIANS...........

  3. cons: being far away from your family.

pros: Not much- I live overseas by the way and there's barely two or three indian family's in our town.

  4. Personally speaking, of course, living abroad has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage being, the infrastructure is very well developed. Things that would normally take a lot of time to be done in India, gets done very fast and there is not much bureaucracy involved, at least in the daily activities. Apart from that, yes, one can do well in their chosen profession as there is no doubt thatmany forigen economy thrives on Asian brain power

It opens up a person's mind, gives one a chance to see things in person and have an opinion rather than get one from TV or books..

Everyone agrees that their time spent outside India is great with variety of experiences and they cherish them, but they do long for their home.

    The negative side

However, though the experience of being an NRI sounds exciting, there are incidents, which do not leave a good taste in anybody's mouth or might even be intolerable.

People who are native to that land might turn hostile or react in funny ways. They involve discriminatory issues such as those of racism

You tend to miss ur family,culture,values..

Therefore, there exist both pros and cons of living outside India. As much as the non-resident Indian would like to stay in another country, there is definitely a feeling of longing towards your own home in the back of their mind. As the famous idiom goes - ''Home is where the heart is'', which is true to the sensibilities of the NRI
