First off last time I checked s*x was not just for having babies.  Also where&#039;s the accountability of the man?  Yes we should always us protection but what if the condom breaks or what if the birth control doesn&#039;t work.  You really shouldn&#039;t judge people.  I guarantee if you were raped by some undesirable person you would d be the first at the abortion clinic.

I am pro-life, but I can assure you that s*x isn&#039;t just for having babies.

I don&#039;t make excuses.  However McCain does.  He has said there are exceptions for abortion.  I disagree.  A life is a life.  If you are going to pick and choose like that, you are pro-choice, not pro-life.

I never have had an abortion or do I intend on ever getting one but that is MY moral beliefs. I am, however, pro choice because I believe that I shouldn&#039;t be making up the minds of women everywhere, when they can clearly make their own decisions. Who am I to decide whats right for somebody else? Who are you to decide that? It&#039;s a personal choice.

s*x is not simply for procreation.  Better access to birth control keeps the need for abortions down, but the Bush admin wants birth control to = abortion.  Go figure.

I am the pro life father of two beautiful children and that is what s*x is also for.  It certainly isn&#039;t exclusive to reproduction and if that is what you think, someone isn&#039;t doing it right.

First of all, s*x is much more than procreation, especially in human beings who can enjoy s*x when they are not fertile.  s*x can be one of the ultimate expression of love for another human being.    It can be a source of incredible comfort in times of stress.  

Many women cannot afford to raise a child, don&#039;t have a support system in place.  Some are quite young and it is not such a good idea to put their bodies thru a pregnancy.  Some women are afraid of the responsibility.  I think it is often about finances.  Even the medical care involved in just going thru a pregnancy and delivery is pretty expensive if you are not insured.    Some people don&#039;t ever want to have children, either because they don&#039;t feel cut out for parenthood or because they worry about the world population and don&#039;t want to add to it.  There are many reasons and I think the vast majority of women who have had abortions gave it a lot of thought.  

Ideally with better education more people will use birth control more regularly and perhaps better birth control methods will be developed in the future.  Even the best birth control methods can fail, though.  I have a friend who had her tubes tied after her third child.  4 years later she found herself pregnant again.
