does proactiv really work

i have a friend who tried it for a few months and nothing happened. i did find a natural type of soap at the site below. it was like 5 dollars and it worked for me in a couple days of washing my face once a day. i love it now!

i used it for like 3 years and it worked just ok but i thought i would have to keep using it to have clear skin..then i switched over to apricot scrub from the drugstore its like 4 bucks which saved me alot of money and in place of the toner i use lemon now and it works way better then proactiv you just rinse it off in the morning

It can if you really use it EVERY day, but my brother has bad bad bad acne and I recommend using the clean and clear acne controll kit, you can get it at walgreens, hes been using it for a week now and its already clearing up his face ALOT! Good lluck. :)

i haven't used it.

but if you use it, you have to continue forever!

use clean and clear, unlike proactiv, it works overnight the first time you use it.

plus you can get it at target/wal mart for $15.

yes it worked for me. But it doesn't give you clear skin in one day like the commercials say. It takes about 2 weeks for clear or mostly clear skin.

yeah but once you stop using it you'll break out worse than you did when you started.

Heres the real answer. Proactiv only works for pimples. not blackheads. if your going to get it for blackheads don't. But yes it does work for pimples but you have to use it every day, once in the morining and and once at night. stay on top of it onther wise it will get worse thatn it was before.

Proactive made my skin really dry and i didn't like it but another thing u could try is go to a drug store and get acne gel and use it every night it cleared my acne in a little bit more then 1 week!  Also something that's worked great for me the not only prevents acne but gets rid of it is a website www.skinid.com it asks u about ur skin and gives u a kit custom for your skin! I don't think so. I used it for 2 1/2 months and it didn't do anything.
