i need help!!!!! .. it is then replaced and a second card is chosen. whats the probability of getting a queen of spades and a 7 of diamonds? please..... the answer is 1/2704 but i don't know how to do my work. please can you help me!!!!??????

  1. since the first card is replaced, there are 52 outcomes for each draw

    P(Queen of spades) = 1 / 52 (since there is only one QSpades)

    P(7 diamonds) = 1/52 (since there is only one 7diamonds)

    P(Q then 7) = 1/52 * 1/52 = 1/2704

    that's the probability of getting them in that order

    Note: the probability of getting them in either order is 2/2704, or 1 / 1352


  2. probability of queen of diamonds is 1/52. as in, there is only one chance of getting it in the whole pack

    the 7 of diamonds is the same

    the two events are independent

    so multiplying the probabiities (1/52 times 1/52) = answer
