Probability of mumbai express waitlisted train ticket confirmation?

I reserved a ticket from hyderabad to pune in mumbai express dated 17 aug. Current status is WL130/WL105.

What is the probability of my ticket getting RAC/confirmed berth?

It also depend in the class you booked the tickets.

- For 2nd SL- 99.99 % you will get confirmation.

- For AC class- 70~75 % you will get the confirmation.

your actual current waitlist status is 105 (forget the 130 number). You still have a month to go, and since there are a lot of Sleeper coaches, you have a fair chance.

"you cannot board the train" means "you cannot board any reserved coaches on the train if you are waitlisted". (You can of course, always travel on the unreserved coaches if you have a ticket.) This is not a new rule - it has been the case for more than 20 years. Even if you are waitlist #1 at the time of Train Departure, you cannot board the reserved sleeper classes.

if you move upto RAC status, then you will get half a berth, and then you CAN board the reserved coaches, and you will be assigned a seat.
