Probability of u.s. going to war in next ten years?

not talking about fighting little terrorists. im talking about fighting an actualy war against an actual military. im talking against china russia or iran whats the probability in your opinion? and if you have any info on it please "relay it to me" thank you

Low. Global trade has added to the ranks of multinational corporations, including some from Russia and China. And the one thing you don't do in  a war is bomb your own assets.

Russia's military history shows that it will defend the Holy Motherland at all costs. But, when it ventured outside the Motherland on military adventures, they had to use non-Russian troops to do so. Even in Georgia. With the breakup of the Soviet Union they don't have a big supply of non-Russian troops for their order of battle.

China has ventured outside of its borders in large numbers only once since the Peoples' Republic was formed on October 1, 1949. That was the Korean conflict where they were reacting to the UN Peace Enforcement  Mission posing a threat when that Mission's forces got too close to the Yalu River separating North Korea and China.

Iran's ruling circle of Shia mullahs will start marginalizing the current President of Iran in a short time. In his stated desire to get rid of Israel he has forgotten that he is a Persian. And there is no love lost between Persians and Arabs over the centuries. The mullahs know how to read maps and realize that the Arab League is arrayed against them from the Arabian Peninsula all the way west to North Africa.

My advice is to quit listening to the "experts" on cable TV news shows. Their presence on the set is designed to draw a crowd so the sponsors can sell stuff to people during the commercial breaks.

BTW, we have killed over 18,000 of those "little terrorists" in Iraq through September of last year. We are at war! You might want to pick up a copy of the book mentioned in the source box below. It's only 160 pages long. It is to Al Queda and the rest of those "little terrorists" what "Mein Kampf" was to the n***s. Those "little terrorists" are serious, focused and dedicated. We're going to be in the Long War against them for quite some time to come.

Are you on drugs? We are at War! Real war, with GIs dying and bleeding in two different foreign countries! I recently read a comment  by  Marine Officer in Iraq, "The Marine Corps is at war, America is at the mall." Aren't you smart enough to understand that we are fighting every day.And if we pull out without finishing the job there, the probability of a bigger, uglier war is greatly increased. And something all of our get of of Iraq friends should remember, there is no second place in war. Support our troops, WIN THE WAR!

pretty high, with russia trying to bring that USSR behavior and bullying their neighbors as well as defying the US and the UN in respecting georgias territory. yeah the chances are high. I guess getting beat once wasnt enough for russia. Putin is a d**k, if Russia could have someone decent run their country who believes in a free society, just imagine the good that could come of that. China is of course the last communist nation, and its a for sure that we will go to war with them at some point to end communism. North Korea is trying to behave itself, so i have no word for them. If north and south korea start being brotherly as they should, that would be a huge gain for the west.

russia is my main concern right now, and with iran starting up their arrogance it is most likely there will be an actual war occur. and of course if that happens i am joining the air force to kick some!! oh yeah lol!! the west can not be defeated because what we represent can never be destroyed "freedom".

First off those "Little Terrorists" Are a HUGE organization consisting of literally millions of people.

Secondly, Russia is always being a bunch of dumbasses and I wish we would just blow their asses up and be done with them.

North Korea,Russia, and Iran are the likely candidates right now.

if we do it will be against china, iran or north korea. these countries are likely to fight guerilla warfare though

somebody on here said china would fight with guerilla warfare??? not likely. the yellow army will attack in waves. remember the korean war? china has the largest army in the world (meaning the most people enlisted) and russia has i think the 2nd largest. i dont believe they would fight guerilla style.

but iran looks like the most likely right now. although with the situation that went on in russia and georgia, russia could be a likely candidate for some talking. i doubt we will go to war with them over this, being that we never went to war with them when a lot worse went on (cuban missle crisis).

and i believe the war in iraq is considered a war. thousands have been killed on our side. and i think the iran death count for civillians and military reached close to a million (not 100% on that fact).
