Probably the most complex iTunes question ever.?

I am wondering if there are ANY programs out there that can do this for me.

The problem is I have a laptop and a desktop computer. What I want to do is synchronize my laptop with my iPod, but not erase ANY of the songs from my desktop computer, catch my drift? And visca versca. See if I buy music on my laptop, then come home and synchronize my iPod with my desktop, then i will LOSE all of those songs because they aren't on my home computer.

Or, another option is manually syncing it. I will probably manually sync it with my laptop but then want to auto sync with my desktop. What I want to do probably calls for a program out there somewhere? Which program though is what I need to know! Thanks!!!!

  1. Just check mark "manually manage" under your iPod. Then you should be able to plug it into either computer and drag and drop whatever songs you want and it won't delete the songs you already have.

  2. I highly reccomend network magic if you have it. It can easily sync files, folders, printers and most importantly, computers. I recommend that you download it at networkmagic.com. If not there are other options.

Btw, if you want to know how to get free stuff, check out my blog @ freeitems4all@blogspot.com. It shows the best sites in terms of freebies.

Back to the question. I also recommend that if you cannot pay for network magic that you download a torrent. hope this helps.

  3. I have a Mac, so I might not be able to help you too much, but I know that when I plug in the iPod Classic, it sometimes gives me the option to upload my songs from my iPod to my laptop. I think all you have to do is change a few settings on your iPod and iTunes account.

Sorry I can't be too much of a help since I have a Mac, but it's the best I can do.
