  1. The judge will deliberate on the merits of the recommendations of the probation officer and will have an impartial decision.

  2. the judge makes the call on this . not the prob . yes ever one said that it them.  what ever  . call the probation office in the state wher u live .they can tell u . if it's up to the prob tell ur b friend to be come friends with his prob

  3. THE JUDGE TAKES ALL FACTORS INTO ACCOUNT. TRY FRIENDS, CLERGY PERSONS, AND IN A POWER POSITION. THE JUDGE WILL ALSO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT YOUR DISPOSITION, DEMEANOR, YOUR CASE HISTORY. GET ANTONE YOU CAN THINK OF BUT FIRST ASK YOUR PROBATION OFFICER WHERE TO GO. THEY LIKE THAT STUFF.

  4. Yes, the judge knows that the PO is constantly monitoring the probationer, and would most likely go with the PO's recommendation. Try and get some good letters of support if you think your friend is being rail-roaded. Show the judge stuff that are positive that your friend has done since being on probation. Make sure he/she has paid all fee's and taken all classes before trying to put up a defence. Good Luck

  5. yes since the probation officer is the one who files reports on the accused for later review by a judge.

  6. yes, the probation officer will present the case/evidence and if the judge see some merit in the case present the probation or house arrest could be extended.
