Probation officers please HELP!

Question

I got a DUI and was placed on ARD for a year. I refrained from drinking and learned my d**n lesson basically. I was placed in mandatory drug and alcohol for 12 sessions.

I got a new job and had to switch counselors. My probation ended in July and my Probation Officer told me she needed faxed proof of completion of the Drug and Alcohol. I told her I have one more session. At that session the counselor said I need to come back to p**s test.

I was never told about the test and have set it up for Thursday. However, the Officer said she needs faxed proof of completion by Monday or I will be charged with violation of ARD and be in major trouble.

I left a message on her phone that I had the test Thursday and that I would even call off work Monday morning and go test because I don't want to get in more trouble! What else can I do? No one has been in offices all weekend and I just got her message Friday after work!

It's Simple. Take the day off of work and be there to p**s first thing in the morning. get it over and done with. Not worth going back and forth with it. Yes, we have weekends off so you would not get a hold of us. She'll hear your messages tomorrow but leave one tonight saying you will call into work and just go down to take care of it.

Id be in there first thing Monday morning. Its not worth going to jail for.

Monday morning call your counselor, have your counselor call your probation officer and let them know that you are cooperative and *in compliance*, and that you will not be discharged from their service until after the results of your scheduled pee test Thursday.  The issue is whether or not you are *in compliance*... if you are, and only your alcohol counselor can say that you are or are not.  Call your probation officer and let them know that you have called the counseling service, and if he does not hear from them by, say, noon, to please let you know, and you will go pick up verification of your compliance on your lunch hour.  

Meanwhile carry with you the appointment card for your pee test, and if you have the letter requesting that you take it, carry that as well.  If you do get hauled in on a bench warrant you can use them to show the judge that you are complying with the order of the court to the greatest extent allowable by the scheduling of the pee test people, most judges have more sense than a probation officer who would can you for this...  

UNLESS you have been a procrastinating butthead in the past.  If you have been, be there at the testing center to pee in person first thing Monday morning, and have them call your probation officer in your presence before you leave.  Don't forget to call your new employer at the crack of workday!
