Problem Recording HD Feed.?

I have this HDTV here, http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4857815

Im trying to Record the HD Feed of Shows on my Time Warner Cable DVR Box. When I try to do this, The DVD shows the picture in the middle with Grey bars on the top and bottom of the screen looking horrible. I know I wont get True HD from doing this, but I want to Record the HD Feed. How do I hook my Recorder up to do this. Thanks.

Keep in mind that just because you there are bars at the top and bottom does NOT mean it is still not an HD movie.  There are plenty of films that are not in 16:9 ratio and when viewing them on a 16:9 TV they will have the bars.  HDTV does not mean "NO bars".

make sure u have a Time Warner HD DVR box then if u do then u would go into the guide and record ur program.
