Problem With Blackberry Pearl

Question

I changed phones with a friend of mine to see if I liked the blackberry and I ended up charging it because it was low on battery. I charged it with a sidekick lx charger. when I returned the phone to her it was fine but when she turned it off and then tried to turn it back on, it would not stay on. Could the fact that I charged it with another charger have killed the blackberry's battery?

i had the same problem with mine... try charging it with the correct charger and see if that helps. worked for me.

Yes. Could have damaged the battery or the phone itself.

Possibly. The voltage might not have been the same for the Pearl.
