Problem connecting a Panasonic NV - DS60 DV camera to Movie maker via 1394 cable?

Hi, my MM doesn't see the dv camera, (connected via a 1394 cable). I don't have an install disc. The camera is on the hardware list, as I uploaded a film just a month ago. I have tried the troubleshooter, but this gives me an error message..."an active X on this page is not safe. Your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page". So now I'm stuck. I can't get MM to see the camera, and I can't do the normal troubleshooting excercise, either. Can anybody help with either or both of these problems. I'd really appreciate some help

  2. Connect the camera and switch it on

    go to start menu

    Open Control Panel

    Switch to Classic view

Open Scanners and cameras (double click the icon

    Follow the add camera wizard.

    OR

Look under the "other" section of My Computer to confirm the conenction and determine that the MM hasn't gone wrong and needs re-installing.

If Windows can't find the camera then camera or the cable are faulty.
