Question:

Problem detecting and connecting to my wireless network?

I recently bought a D-link wireless router and set that up with my cable internet. It worked fine for the first few days, but now my computer isn't detecting the network I set up (I made it private and it still worked after that, I don't know if that matters) and it isn't connecting to the wireless internet. Does anyone know how I can fix this? Thanks.

  1. is your D-Link router, linksys?

If it is then, try putting your wireless on prevent, never private

  2. why dont you take the privacy setting off and see if that helps.

  3. You can try reinstalling any software you got with this D-link. Or contact the manufacturer for more help. Or you should have any troubleshoot with this product. Try it out. Hope this helps :)

  4. Uninstall any software on your computer that connects to the network, like any software that came from the CD or that you downloaded. Then, go to the bottom right, click the 2 computers, and click connect to. Yous should see your wireless network, just click on it and connect to it. After you are connected make sure you check the boxes so you are automatically connected.
