Problem getting connected to the internet

Communication with the server failed.
A DSN error has occured (80410414)
It also says Connecting to access point . . .
Obtainging IP Address . . linksys
A connection error has occured.
The attempt to obtain an IP address has timed out.
Connection name: linksys
SSID: linksys

My laptop has NO problem with this wireless connection.
What am I doing wrong?????
