Problem installing photoshop cs3?

i'm trying to install photshop onto my laptop, which previously had the trial version of photoshop cs3 but when i try to install it, a window comes up saying that it can't be installed because it's conflicting with adobe photoshop cs3. is it conflicting with my old trial version? i tried deleting the trial version and then installing it again but i got the same problem.

After deleting all references to your trial version make sure you disable any anti-virus software before you install CS3 it is known to conflict with resident anti-virus software during installation

After you uninstall the trial version go to the registry and delete all references to CS3 out of there too. Then install cs3 I hope this helps.

It's because all these little setting from the trial install are still there, no worries.
