without reasons details are that I am using my amplifier head phone out ( with large pin adapter to small 3.5 pin with two rca red and white going to my reciver aux in) there is no sound. When I pull the head phone pin slightly out the sound is fine. I already used mono stereo, stereo mono combinations and more but when the pin is inserted full in headphone out sound is COMPLETELY gone, no hissing even. No other output available. Why is it that I do not get any sound when the pin fully inserted in headphone out of the amplifier?

  1. I can't understand why you are trying to connect your amplifier and receiver in this manner. Ideally, your reciever should come before the amplifier.

As for the sound using headphone out, first try with a simple headphone. Does it work fine?

It might be a loose contact as far as I can make out from your description or some incompatibility of the plug you are using with the given socket.
