Problem loading page for Facebook?

Question

I can't seem to open Facebook now. I could access it earlier & it worked perfectly. All other sites can be opened, except Facebook. I get this message...

Unable to connect

Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at www.facebook.com

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few

moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network

connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure

that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

what should I do to solve this problem?I keep in contact with a lot of friends using Facebook, so this is essential.

i tried f5 didn't work for me but i shall hold out until its back up.

when you get the message IE cannot open page click back and then immediately hit F5 to refresh, almost simultaneously it helps

I get that problem too... but then I can still access it from my tablet.  Then I had the same problem with Google; I couldn't access that either.  Now Google works, but when I try to load Facebook it just skips me to Google.

You can temporary get into facebook, if you place and "s" after http:// .  For example, "https://" without the quoates.  as in https://www.facebook.com   This only views in a secure mode, but makes it visible.  Good luck.

omg, this is true... it started a few weeks ago. i thought i was the only one experiencing this problem. until now, facebook seems messed up on my computer with any browser. :((

I never used to have any problems before, but these days it's just one problem after another with facebook.. soooooo friggin annoying! ..the usual advice is to restart your computer, clear your cookies etc, refresh your browser, change your browser, update your browser etc, etc, blah blah blah..

..the only thing that works so far is WAITING untill it starts working again! ..sometimes its a few hours, other times its aaaaaages! ..im having the same problem at the moment, i can get into all sites except facebook.. even other sites like farmville.com which use facebook to log you in can't seem to do the job.. however i can use my phone to get into my account.. maybe you can do the same untill facebook decides to start working again on your computer/laptop.. goodluck! My browser is doing the same thing right now, but only for facebook....  How long do these things take?   HaHa, I feel like 'whoa, I really AM addicted to facebook' but it's really just because it's so annoying, I cant get on, that I keep trying.

Same loading problems with Facebook, it doesn't matter what browser I am using..All other sites I go to works just fine except FACEBOOK so I would have to agree it is FACEBOOK'S servers that is causing the problem right now, they just made some changes to it again..I was in it and when I went to one of my apps and kicked me out..can't get back in now. so will have to try a little later..
