  1. Are you using your wifes yahoo answers account?

Any matter. You may have to move...or document his activities and possibly find a charge that'll haul HIS @$$ to court.

  2. O.K. With a neighbor like that your going to have to move or get him to move..

  3. Buy a few HIDDEN cameras. Once you get enough evidence that shows his ludicrous actions you will have a case. Who knows, you might even get lucky and catch him doing some insane stunt that will land him in jail! You dont know what hes up to when your gone or sleeping, so HIDDEN cameras are the key.

Personally depending how I felt having children, I would fight fire with fire. There are so many natural things that can effect this guy. You just have to hit the guy with things that can not be pointed in your direction. OR you can man up and talk to the guy, get him to come over to your yard out of the cameras eyes and beat this guy down. Nothing better than beating some sense and mabie respect out of a guy! Good luck man, sounds like a foobar situation!

  4. I'd file a restraining order if you aren't in a position to move right now. If your family is being threatened and your privacy invaded you need to take legal recourse. Ignoring this idiot will not make him stop.

  5. You are going to have to move.  Having an acting out neighbor is one of the h***s on earth.  Be sure you put black out curtains on your daughters' windows.  He is a peeper and you don't want him to be able to see in at any time.  They'll just have to turn on the lights if it is too dark in there.

To keep your sanity, you might need to put up a fence that completely blocks his view of your yard next to him.  We considered that with our last neighbors.  If he rents, complain to his landlord if the landlord has any common sense.  Don't if it'll come back at you.

The flipping out your wife and daughters can either ignore or smile and wave and say Hi, very brightly, whenever it happens.  Never show weakness.  Never show irritation.  Never look his way.  Ignore all taunts. You are dealing with a bully (and a drunk) who has no brakes on his behavior and it may take quite a while to make him realize he can't set you off.  Maybe he'll harass the guy on the other side.

  6. I would start thinking about moving, I understand that you need your privacy and it's scary when someone threatens you! Also it doesn't sound like you can just talk it out with him because he sounds kind of freaky, and you never know what could happen next, I would think he might even try to break in your house! I hope not though! Best Wishes! :P

  7. Wow...That's a tough one.  Is there any kind of neighborhood mediation or anything?  Could you approach him being very real and let him know how much this hurts your family??  I kind of doubt it as he does sound loony.

Honestly...if all the appropriate and kind responses fail, it may be time to fight fire with fire.  I would usually not recommend doing that, but...IDK...can you put up some cameras that watch his property?  Could you put a sign up in your daughter's window that says something either biting or funny?  (e.g. "How's the view, neighbor?")

It's probably best to ignore him, but I don't know how long I'd be able to...especially if I tried to have a real heart to heart (In the AM of course, before he is drunk).

  8. take him to court if he threatens you guys again

    threading is bull ****
