    Flowers vs Greb

Not really sure if I understand your question.  There used to be a lot of no decision fights and newspaper decisions that did not count and sadly no black heavyweights ever fought for a world heavyweight title during that era.

Les D:  Giving myself thumbs up?  What have you been smoking?  Are you jealous because people on here seem to like me?  When are you going to quit acting like a child?  I have one account pal!  How many do you really have should be the question when I see the small amount of points you have along with several others on here.  You say you are watching me?  Go ahead.

  2. its simple, during the roaring twenties, there was no television, no governing bodies like the WBA, WBC, IBF. there was NYSAC, referees were allowed to score fights, no 3 judges at ringside deciding the bout, no ESPN, Direct TV, pay-per-view, no ringside physician stopping fights, the 20s had fighters like jack dempsey, gene tunney, georges carpentier, mike mctigue, paul berlanbach, jack delaney, tommy loughran, harry greb, mickey walker, tiger flowers, jack britton, benny leonard, johnny dundee, joe lynch, pete herman, jimmy wilde, pancho villa, and fidel la barba.

  3. problem of boxing in the 1920's is lack of exposure, coverage....problems of boxing today is its a complete joke.
