Problem that wont go away?

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

Ok so i like metallica , i started liking them at around March of this year, ok so heres the problem i dont know why i started liking metallica. The only things i remember is that i first time i listen to them was when i was 9, it was whiskey in the jar i liked the song but didn't fell in love with it instantly. then through the years i listen to enter sandman, nothing else matters but just thought as them as just another regular song. then this is were my problem really begins i bought guitar hero around november and listened to the song "one" i loved the song and noticed that metallica was kind of a cool band, but still had no impact on me (guns n roses was my favorite band at that time). then around January- Febuary, of this year i was going through some rough times and was listening to music on my brother in laws ipod and saw metallica on there and stumbled upon like 4 cool metallica songs i loved the songs i downloaded them to my ipod and listened to them non-stop i decided to download more songs from them and then know i love metallica

So my problem here is did i like Metallica because of guitar hero?

yes you like it more cuz you interact with the game like bloc party helicopter i never liked it much but now i love it and its one of my fav songs i listen to everyday

Partly, with a lot of good music, for whatever reason, you might not like it right away, but once you really start listening to it and analyzing the greatness in your head you appreciate it much more.

I used to hate Metallica, but for some reason, I downloadeda few songs one day, and loved them more and more with each listen.  Just steer clear of their new stuff.

Who cares how you found out about them, its music and its good! If it makes you happy, then who really cares where you got it from? I don't. I picked up a lot of favorite new groups from GH and Rock Band, there is nothing wrong with it unless you are a poser child who pretends to like a group or be a 'superfan' who only knows the song from the game. Those groups deserve better. Yeah you sound like you are just having fun with it.

Side note: I love Helicopter, hate Bloc Party. Blech, boring. I am so bored with their sound, it doesn't sound new to me at all, and I like things to be different and strange. If I know exactly what ALL of your songs sound like from hearing one, then it makes me mad! Sorry. Go ahead and like them, I'm not stopping you! Good night!

*edit* oh GOD yes Matchbook Romance! They have stuff to say! Energetic songs, they always change up the format. Also Bang Camaro just from the funness of the guitar parts!

maybe because you've played it so much you started to like the song

that happened to me too with songs by Senses Fail & Bloc Party & Matchbook Romance

its not unusual :P

and after liking those bands more,i also became interested in the rest of their songs :)
