Problem uploading pictures HELP!!!????

Question

I just recently got my laptop like a month ago & when I uploaded pics, a window would pop up and let me choose how I wanna upload my pics.

and now when I plug in my camera the window pops up and my computer freezes and I have to shutt of my computer.

Anything I can do? Cuz I really need to upload these pictures.

btw if it helps, I have a DELL computer and I have Windows Vista.

this is what is happening to my computer as well but whta i do is go to my documents and then go to f drive and uload the pics my self.. it take a while but it works for me.
