Problem w/ Camcorder connection to PC?

I have a Panasonic Digital Palmcorder Camcorder. the Model no. is PV-DV103. I have installed software called PHOTOVU LINK. But the software says "please check pc/palmcorder connection." I can't seem to get the camcorder to communicate with PHOTOVU LINK.

Any ideas of how i can fix this?

(Note: i have made PHOTOVU LINK an exception to windows firewall.)

I am not sure if you purchased the usb connection cable? If you haven't you will need it to connect to your pc. If you have the cable try going to the link below and download the drivers for your camcorder. Once they install turn computer off and reboot with camcorder connected via usb cable and camcorder turned on. I hope this helps.
