Problem w/ my car speakers....?

i have 4 speakers in my car and they are all aftermarket. the headunit is also aftermarket.

the problem is that they arent loud at all! my friend has the same headunit and speakers but his sound twice as loud? my car is a bmw i think the guy said that the speakers had sum kind of small amplifier

Check and make sure that they're wired in correctly first and if so then try and get maybe a 5-600 watt amplifier if so. Make sure that the speakers can handle whatever amp you hook up though.

make sure u have ur positive and negative wires on ur speakers in the correct place ,this will make a big difference if wired wrong.

Sometimes it helps if you run new speaker wires all the way threw the car to the speakers. I know it is a hassle it can pay off in the end
