Problem while typing in word document?

Question

when I am typing in word document,sometimes when I want to correct a word and I insert a letter in the word it deletes the next letters.I know that I accidentally pressed some buttons on the keybord,Ctrl or Alt + some button, and I don`t know exactly which ones, please tell me

to stop the new letters over ridding the nxt one, press the insert key, that will make the words flow normally and let you obvisouly insert letters..:)

This has happened to me quite a few times. When this happens, just press the "Insert" button on the right part of your keyboard. It's usually located near the Home and End buttons.
