Problem with 500 artic cat 500 atv- Leaks Fuel

Question

My Atv started leaking fuel out of the bottom of the carb,So I put a rubber plug over the outlet(looks almost like a drain nozel) now the fuel looks like its coming through the intake airfilter box.

A. what is the problem?

B. what do I need to fix?

C. is there supposed to be a hose or something that connects to the bottom of the carb?

your float is stuck,/dirt in the needle valve,take the bottom off of the carb and clean it with carb cleaner,make sure the float moves freely/has no holes in it
