When my 12 mnth contract ceased I tried to get a migration code to change provider, but despite the fact they'd been trying to get me to renew for 2 months, suddenyl I was told my contract was for 18months not 12. I was cut off 4 times trying to get this resolved - which seems to be quite a coincidence & a less determioned person wld give up! Interested to know if anyone else had the same prob?

  1. Call 0800 800 030 and request it again. They have to supply you with a MAC Code within 5 days of you asking, this is now law.

Have a read of this as it gives you some more details.

  2. Haven't had the exact same problem but I'm fed up with B.T. over- charging me.  Have you tried writing to ofcom? www.ofcom.org.uk
